7th Anniversary.

Only been in Korea for a week but I headed for my boys 7th anniversary party. It's not my 7th year with them, but being able to celebrate them on stage for 7 years was such a delightful event.

It's their 7th year, but it doesn't mean it'll end there even with the unlucky 7 years of love sayings. I believe they been thru so many things that other groups have yet been through. And that's why they can last longer, and hold on longer than the rest.

On that day, I learn how kimbaps are a savior to my stomach. Cheapest things of life might be important. Lol!

Foreign friends

In a foreign country, it's always nice to have a local friend. Or even someone local who is hospitable enough to make your awkward heart at ease. It at least brings you a step closer to the place.

Thank god I met a friend's friend in Korea who I have to say is very very hospitable. I'm glad she is nice, or else I'll be back hiding in my shell of cold darkness back at home. She wasn't my first Korean friend but she definitely made my trip a better one.

(p.s.: and it's the locals who normally know where the nice food are)

I forgot about the existence of this blog, its been 1 year since I've touched it. And I didn't even complete the last Korea trip's story!! The laziness in me will never improved so if I don't complete a 3 months worth of story.... Don't say I didn't warn you....

The previous time I was in Korea, I was with friends that have been to Korea more than 3 times. And all I do was to follow, they go left, I'll just go left. The only time I was alone previously was like 30mins when I went to buy an album. It wasn't my first time but it felt like it was, except within Myeongdong itself.

Had always believe that I had the hang of things, but the first ever city train ride alone was disastrous that made me knew that I actually overestimated myself. A ride to Hongdae for dinner was suppose to take maximum 30 minutes took me over an hour to get there. There is something I hate about Seoul's Subway, is that once you take the wrong train, wrong side, you have to walk quite a long distance to take the train back to the opposite side. Sometimes, you even have to tap out to cross over. Paying for your own mistakes I guess? Wouldn't it be nice to just cross the platform if you overslept your station? That's a total me.

My first trip to Korea, I went back saying that "Everywhere is WIFI-ed!! so I don't have to worry and just get a non-3g phone!!" however I was soooo wrong. My house's wifi was so screwed, skyping back home was even a problem. Furthermore, I have NEVER connected to my school's wifi. Where was the WIFI everywhere moment? Spent like 2 weeks, having no on going WIFI and bad WIFI at home was a killer. I didn't know how to survive those 2 weeks. Went to the computer lab once early in the morning and refuse to bulge from my seat so I can use the computer for hours to recover from wifi-less side effects. Stood by the sidewalk just to use the wifi below Mr Pizza so I can contact my friends and ask them to help convey messages. It was craziness, thank god for the very expensive Olleh Egg that I've got now.

It was my second day in Seoul and I went to Coffee Bean for a drink with a foreigner (awkward much) after my placement test. I got notified that Mr Leader was going to Kona Beans at 5pm and after reading it, I couldn't reply anybody, I couldn't get further connection in Coffee Bean. I was totally panicking out but I survived somehow rushed home and to Kona Beans before Mr Leader strutted in like a gorgeous model.

It were days where SPAO was a must stay for an hour to use WIFI... Constantly refreshing to find Seoul Wifi on the streets of Myeongdong, walking to the subway after school so I could stop and stand by Mr Pizza to whatsapp. Those days are gone and I feel more alive. HAHA. My dramatic descriptions are so vast when I'm going to bed I guess.

What advancement is there up for us on air?

It's been long since I took a non LCC out of the country. It's always been lower end airplanes or budget flights that don't serve food.

Taking Korean Airlines out of Singapore had me so interested in thing making me look like its my first time taking the plane again.

I love taking the plane, eating airplane food... It's just the part and parcel of the desire to travel I guess.

I knew I won't sleep much on the plane like I always do... Thank god there is this amazing USB charger in every seat! Was able to read my ebook and travel all the way smoothly to Korea. ^^

I'm a techie-whore who can't live without a gadget. It's either the laptop or phone. So yay I have my phone well charged when I alight the flight. Starts to whatsapp once I reach Incheon Airport. And since I was at Incheon before, my phone actually automatically connects to the airport wifi once I entered. <3333 data-blogger-escaped-br="br">

Around 1 month left....

I've wanted to blog about my trip. But then got lazy. And also too afraid that if people read about my trip here, I'll just get judged...

I've enjoyed my time here, 1 month more left but I've yet done anything like a tourist. I don't go sightseeing but I have a list of places I want to go see. It's super weird how I live my life similar to how I am in Singapore, just with the huge addition of SJ's schedules and Ailee's schedule that I have yet to go.

I'll blog......... I guess so that I can reminisce my time here. T.T
